Man arrested in Peterborough on weapons charge
Police have arrested a man in Peterborough this afternoon after being found in public with an offensive weapon.
Officers were called to Craig Street off Lincoln Road at 2.50pm to reports of a suspicious incident.
A 25-year-old man from Peterborough has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and remains in custody at Thorpe Wood.
