Man charged with causing fatal collision and armed robbery at Cambridgeshire Post Office

A man has been charged following an armed robbery and fatal collision that happened in Manea on Sunday evening (October 22).
A police spokesperson said that officers were called at about 7.15pm with reports of an armed robbery at Manea Post Office, in Park Road.

Hide AdThen, at 7.30pm on the same evening, officers were alerted by ambulance crews to a car in a water-filled ditch in Byall Fen Drove, Manea.
Road policing officers found a man dead in the silver Ford Focus. The man has not been named by police.
Today, a Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said that Sonny Loveridge, 25, of Stretham Station Road, Wilburton, Ely, has been charged with robbery and causing death by dangerous driving.
Police said that Loveridge was due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today (24 October).
