Hide AdHolland Bazaar, which was created 15 years ago and is beginning to grow its operations outside of the capital, has just applied to Peterborough City Council for the transfer of the premises licence in order to operate from the city site.
The company says it aims to supply fruit and veg, confectionary, frozen food, and catering supplies at reasonable prices and while many of its customers are based in London, it is seeking to reach other UK markets.
A company spokesman has been reported as stating: “This is the first foray outside of London for Holland Bazaar, with a new market demographic, different product ranges and a fresh challenge for the business.”
It says it will work with the existing Peterborough staff and offer further employment opportunities in the community to order to grow the business and improve the customer experience.

Peterborough is also home to a flowers and plants cash and carry operator.
Flowers & Plants Direct moved into Hampton Business Park four years ago creating about eight jobs. It stocks hundreds of different varieties of flowers and plants.
