Strong winds are forecast to hit Peterborough later this week, with The Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning.

The warning, which covers all of Engalnd and Wales, is in place between 9pm on Wednesday and 3pm on Thursday.

The Met office said: "Strong winds accompanied by heavy and blustery showers may bring some disruption to England and Wales.

"What to expect:

"Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely.

"Some short term loss of power and other services is possible.
