New League One leaders in summer signings table!

Crawley Town are reportedly interested in Grimsby Town central defender Toby Mullarkey.

Crawley have lost last season’s top scorer Danilo Orsi to Burton Albion. It’s the 11th signing this summer by the Brewers, the most in League One.

Sully Kaikai has signed a new contract with Cambridge.

The three League One clubs yet to make any new signings this summer are Leyton Orient, Northampton Town and Reading.

Wycombe have signed Sunderland goalkeeper Nathan Bishop on a season-long loan.

Cambridge have re-signed right-back James Gibbons after he spent time with them on loan from Bristol Rovers last season.

Charlton are interested in Ipswich Town striker Gassan Ahadme who was on loan at Cambridge last season,

Bristol Rovers have reportedly rejected a bid for midfielder Anthony Evans from Huddersfield Town.

Northampton, Exeter and Stevenage are believed to be chasing Crystal Palace midfielder midfielder Malachi Boateng after his loan stint with SPFL side Dundee came to an end.

Crawley Town have signed Wealdstone defender Charlie Barker for an undisclosed fee.

Charlton Athletic have signed Millwall defender Alex Mitchell for an undisclosed fee. He was on loan at Lincoln City last season.

Signing number 10 for Big Steve! Eight for Burton

The relentless transfer pace of Rotherham United and manager Steve Evans has continued. Experienced midfielder Alex MacDonald and goalkeeper Cameron Dawson have joined the Millers after their release from Stevenage and Sheffield Wednesday respectively.

It’s the fourth time Evans has signed MacDonald who played for him at Mansfield, Gillingham and Stevenage.

Burton Albion have made their eighth summer signing by bringing in centre-back Alex Bannon on a three-year deal from Scottish Championship side Queen’s Park.

Bristol Rovers have confirmed the capture of midfielder Isaac Hutchinson from Walsall.

Birmingham City are considering a move for Burnley goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell this summer, as per The Mirror.

City have also been linked with a move for Shrewsbury ‘keeper Marko Marosi who is also of interest to Wrexham.

Wrexham could pip Birmingham to the signing of Pompey midfielder Joe Morrell.

Birmingham's £20 million kitty!

League One title favourites Birmingham City apparently have a £20 million transfer kitty!

And reports suggest they could spend some of it on Sparta Rotterdam striker Tobias Lauritsen.

It has also been suggested they would be prepared to break the League One transfer record, which currently stands at £4m which Sunderland once paid Wigan for Will Grigg. Lauritsen would cost €5-6million.
