Midfielder Kieran Sadlier has left Peterborough United to sign for the manager who brought him to the ABAX Stadium.

Sadlier (21) has signed a one-season contract with Irish Premier League side Sligo Rovers. Sligo are managed by former Posh boss Dave Robertson.

Sadlier had just finished a spell in the Scottish Premier League with St Mirren when Robertson gave him a chance at Posh.

The former West Ham youngster has left on a free transfer. The former Irish under 21 international was out of contract at the end of this season.

Sadlier made one staring appearance, out-of-position as a wintg-back in the 4-1 Capital One Cup defeat at home to Charlton in August.
