Marcus Maddison collected the player-of-the-year prize from supporters group Forever Posh straight after yesterday's (May 8) final League One match of the season.

Maddison scored his 13th goal and delivered his 13th assist in the 5-1 win over Blackpool at the ABAX Stadium. He registered the most assists by a player in League One, alongside Tony McMahon of Bradford City.

Chris Forrester received the Forever Posh ‘away travel player-of-the-year’ prize, while Leo Da Silva Lopes was voted ‘young player-of-the-year’.

Forrester also picked up player-of-the-year prizes from BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and from independent supporters’ group PISA.

PISA’s goal-of-the-season prize went to Martin Samuelsen for his audacious dribble and match-winning strike in the 3-2 win at Sheffield United in January.
