RUTLAND LEAGUE: Mills muscles 36 from one over, Christmas comes back, Butt smacks century
Mills smashed 36 from a single over bowled by Orton Park’s James Fordham in a Rutland Division Four game in Orton Longueville.
Mills was eventually run out for 159 - one of two tons he made over the weekend - of Ramsey’s 245, a nine-man team total reached in just 30 overs and four balls.

Hide AdJust to rub it in, Mills also claimed one wicket in Orton’s reply of 219-7 - his victim was inevitably Fordham.
Ketton’s prolific hitter Zeeshan Manzoor was in top form again. He thrashed an unbeaten 102 from just 50 balls in a 10-wicket Division Two win over March at Pit Lane.
Manzoor hammered nine sixes and nine fours as Ketton steamed to their victory target of 136 in just 14 overs. Ketton are 63 points clear at the top having won all 11 league games this summer.
There were also plenty of runs in Division One with leaders Bourne, Barnack and Nassington all passing 200.

Hide AdBourne still have a healthy lead at the top after beating bottom club Uppingham by 96 runs. Tom Dixon led the way in Bourne’s 275-6 with an unbeaten 80, star man Pete Morgan cracked 52 and there was 54 from returning club legend David Christmas.
Dixon also claimed three wickets in Uppingham’s 179.
Barnack’s 282-7 at Market Deeping was the biggest score of the day and Asim Butt was predictably the star turn with 116. Butt put on 151 for the third wicket with Tas Ahmed (78), although Ross Barnes (5-47) bowled well for the home side.
Deeping were dismissed for just 124 in reply with Mohammed Arshad (4-9) and Amir Munir (3-9) doing the damage.
Nassington’s 218-6 at Peterborough Town came off just 38 overs. The villagers started will with openers James Pope (54) and Dan Bandaranaike (43) scoring freely before Tom Norman (50 from 42 balls) and Adam McDermott (30 from 18 balls) provided late fireworks.

Hide AdHaroon Bashir’s early three-wicket burst ensured Town were never in the hunt and they were eventually shot out for just 123.
Oundle are second, but they had to work hard to see off struggling Stamford by 21 runs at Milton Road. Oundle’s winning score of 197 arrived despite a fine spell of bowling from Stamford’s Richard Field (4-18 from 11 overs).
Tom Williams cracked 60 for Stamford, but no team-mate managed to reach 20.
Gary Freear claimed five wickets in a five-wicket win for Wisbech at home to Ufford Park.
